Ok, basically I have listed some tips on what NOT to do when placing an online dating profile. This might be common sense for some people, but trust me I have seen some really dumb personal ads so read on and learn what not to do. These are tips for photos in your online dating personals.

Don't use an old photo - If you 45 years old but you are using a photo of yourself when you were in your mid 30's that is useless and deceptive. You have to use a current photo of yourself, or else don't even bother putting a photograph on your dating profile.

Don't use blurry photos - I don't know how many times I have seen blurry out of focus dating profiles, that is useless. People need to clearly see what you look like, make the image clear.

Don't show body shots unless - Ok this is more common sense, don't show yourself in a bikini if you are overweight. Sorry to be blunt, but cover it up!

Don't take photos in front of your car - OK guys can you get any cheesier? Taking snapshots in front of your Corvette, looks really lame. Don't try to showing off, it makes you look like a tool.

Don't use grumpy photos - Don't use photos of you in a bad mood - Some people can't take photos we all know that. Smile in your photos, if you look like your dog just died who is going to take a second look at you. Be happy and smile when the camera is in front of you.

Don't use photos with other people in it - I have seen a few times, it looks silly. It's not the biggest deal, but you want to e the center of attention so why use a photo with other people in it?
